Who writes

Every article and calculator on PressTheWord is written or reviewed by Ali Silat, who is named on each article.

Where the numbers come from

We use primary sources: FBR for tax, the State Bank of Pakistan for policy rates and banking rules, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics for inflation, the PSX for market data, Central Directorate of National Savings for savings rates, and each bank’s own Schedule of Charges for bank fees. Every page names its source and the date it was checked.

How often pages are updated

Pages are updated when the underlying figures change: tax pages after each federal budget, bank charges when banks publish new schedules (usually twice a year), and inflation and savings rates when new figures are released.

Corrections

If you spot an error, tell us through the contact page. We fix confirmed errors quickly and update the page date.
