ATM Withdrawal Charges in Pakistan
What every major bank charges to take cash from another bank's ATM, check your balance, or withdraw abroad.
Taking cash from your own bank’s ATM is free at every bank. Using another bank’s ATM costs Rs 35 per withdrawal at all 19 banks and wallets we checked. The real differences are in balance checks at other ATMs and in withdrawals abroad, where some banks charge a percentage of the amount.

How to pay less
- Use your own bank’s ATMs where you can. They are free.
- Take out more cash in fewer withdrawals, since the Rs 35 is per withdrawal, not per rupee.
- Check your balance in your bank’s app instead of at another bank’s ATM.
- Abroad, compare the ATM charge with the card payment charge in our foreign card fee calculator. Paying by card is often cheaper than withdrawing cash.
More bank charges, from the same schedules: IBFT and Raast transfer charges, debit card annual fees and credit card charges compared.
Where these figures come from
Every figure is from the bank’s own Schedule of Charges for July to December 2026, linked in the last column with the page number. Banks publish a new schedule every six months, and we update this page when they do. Most charges exclude federal excise duty or sales tax unless the bank’s wording says otherwise.
