Reading the table

  • Annual fee is charged every year whether you use the card or not. Some banks waive it for the first year or if you spend a set amount.
  • Finance charge (APR) applies to any balance you do not pay in full by the due date. At these rates, paying only the minimum gets expensive quickly.
  • Foreign transaction is added to purchases from outside Pakistan. Tax on the fee and 236Y come on top: see the foreign card fee calculator.

For what each charge means and which card suits whom, read our guide to credit card charges in Pakistan. To avoid most of these charges, read how to use a credit card in Pakistan.

More bank charges, from the same schedules: ATM withdrawal charges, IBFT and Raast transfer charges and debit card annual fees.

Where these figures come from

Every figure is from the bank’s own Schedule of Charges for July to December 2026, linked in the last column with the page number. Standard Chartered’s schedule does not list late payment, cash advance or finance charges for its consumer cards, so those cells say “Not listed”. Charges usually exclude federal excise duty or sales tax.
