IBFT Charges in Pakistan: Bank Transfer Fees Compared

What each bank charges to send money to another bank by IBFT, the free monthly limit, and where Raast is free.

Most banks let you send up to Rs 25,000 a month to other banks for free by IBFT (interbank funds transfer). Above that, the usual charge is 0.1% of the amount or Rs 200, whichever is lower. On a Rs 50,000 transfer, that is about Rs 25 to Rs 50 depending on how the bank counts the free limit. Wallets like SadaPay make all transfers free.

IBFT or Raast?

Raast is the State Bank’s instant payment system. You send money using the other person’s Raast ID, usually their mobile number, or their IBAN. Every bank that lists Raast in its schedule charges nothing for it, so for larger amounts Raast is usually the cheaper choice. Not every bank lists Raast in its schedule, which is why some rows say “Not listed”.

More bank charges, from the same schedules: ATM withdrawal charges, debit card annual fees and credit card charges compared.

Where these figures come from

Every figure is from the bank’s own Schedule of Charges for July to December 2026, linked in the last column with the page number. Faysal Bank’s latest published schedule is for January to June 2026. Some banks state their IBFT charge including federal excise duty, as shown in their wording.
